Logo Process for Nian – A Chinese Noodle Restaurant

Nian, meaning "thought" or "idea," is a Chinese noodle restaurant that specializes in an ancient noodle-making technique. The restaurant owner approached me to create a logo that would reflect the traditional roots of the restaurant while being simple and memorable.

To achieve this, I crafted a straightforward logo using Chinese characters, blending them with architectural elements inspired by traditional Chinese design. This approach ensured the logo was not only legible but also evoked the authenticity and heritage of the restaurant.
